Interests

Foodie. I love to host

supper clubs,

dinner parties, wine nights. My kitchen is a revolving door of recipe testing – some winners and some losers – with a partiuclar love of all things colourful. I like to make things look good, even if the bottom is burnt I can almost certainly fool you into eating the top. My dream job would be editorial food styling and recipe book development. When in the UK I tour festivals with a food truck, and in Köln I am a member of the

Baostelle

start up, handmaking and serving steamed buns to the masses.

Travel. Theres nothing like a hostel bed to humble you, and a student budget to force an adventure. I have managed to make my way around the world on a shoestring, collecting recipes and all sorts of unknown viruses along the way. It’s how I met

my partner

and  ended up living in Germany.

Printmaking. I am an active member of the Silkscreen printing AG at KISD. I studied a variety of printmaking methods during my time in Bristol, and I’m particulary fond of

screen printing.

Language

English speaker with an *authentic* British accent. But no, seriously, if you’re searching for a native speaker who is quick to proof-read copy then I’m your girl.

I currently study A2/B1 German at the VHS in Köln – it’s hard and I communicate like a small child in German, but I swear that it’s good for an adult brain to sweat a little. Needless to say then that my preferred working language is English.

Skills

I use InDesign most frequently, but I also rely on Illustrator and other Adobe applications to complete projects. I have some minor experience with aftereffects.
I am familiar with printmaking methods, marketing tools, handling paper and writing copy.
